Tash Clark-Monks Film Photographer Tasmania
I’m Tash, Tasmanian photographer and mother to three wild, wonderful boys.
I believe the everyday is full of meaning. The way light falls through an old window in summer. The rhythm of breakfasts, school runs, bedtime stories. The soft chaos that comes with family life. These are the moments I want to save.
Photography, for me, is a way of paying attention. I work mostly with film because it slows me down, it asks for patience, presence, and trust in the process. I’m not interested in perfect images. I’m interested in honest ones.
If you’re here, you probably value what’s unfiltered. The way your children grow in front of your eyes. The stories you’ll want to revisit.
I want to walk beside you, not as someone who “makes you look good,” but as someone who honours what’s already there, the things you’ll want to remember when everything else changes.
I care about the slow build of trust and the unspoken permission to witness you as you are. Letting someone in isn’t always easy, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ll arrive with gentleness, curiosity, and the intention to see you clearly.
I’m not just here to take photos, I’m here to honour the experience with care, to move at your pace, and to create something that feels true.
